Figured it out. Hardest part was the passenger side where the airmatic tube had to be removed to get to the tail lights.

Yes...Tail lights. Had an opportunity to purchase '07 Taillights for cheap (off of a friend of a friend's '07 E350) so I went ahead and did the change. You need to remove the black plastic trim that runs on the bottom and edge of the trunk opening. Center use a screwdriver to pop the clip. Once the plastic trim is removed, you can then push the side trim to get to the taillights. Once access to the headlights from the inside, just remove the nuts and the taillights comes out from the outside.

I know some do not like the new '07 tail lights. For me, I think it's more of a clean look or maybe it's because it's just something different.

BTW...it is a direct bolt on. No modification needed.

L.H.... Thought you were dumping the E for something different???
Has the car been treating you well??? Mine has been great, love the ride and will be holding it for a few more years.
Hope you and your family have a great Christmas.

H ona H: Good to see you're still around! In October my friend from Phoenix agreed to buy my car and he was going to fly in for Thanksgiving to visit family and drive the car back. During this time, I was set on ordering a '07 BMW 650i Coupe. Had all the options picked out and found a dealer who was going to give me a decent deal. As time got close to Thanksgiving, I still liked the 650 but thought I could use this money for better use. Also, my E only has 20K miles and its been reliable so I decided to keep it for now and my friend was fine with it. Glad I kept it for now.

You too have a good Christmas!
