I didn't think an E320 could do that at all.

If someone did that in front of my house, I would have them arrested for reckless driving. What an idiot.

I thought the young nut was going to be ejected and run over by the nice E and his gore and goo splashed all over the paintwork.

Lucky car.

What is the output of your Kleemanized CDi in horsepower and torque?

Guys:

Do you think the young man had his seat belt on when he opened the driver's door?

It is funny if he got fired out of the open door and the car became a runaway "train"! How hard is it to explain to the rental company what actually happened?

In the supposed words of Queen Victoria, we are not amused.

People are free to do whatever fool thing they want with their own car on their own private property. They aren't free to do whatever they want on somebody else's private property (e.g., a parking lot) or with somebody else's car. They sure aren't free to engage in reckless driving on a residential public street. It's rude to the people who live there, because of the noise and pollution, never mind the danger. That's just disrespectful of other people, and disrespecting people like that is never funny. What if the genius driving the car had managed to injure his videographer? Jail time. Killed his videographer? Prison time. Very funny indeed.

I live one block away from a five-way intersection and every few weeks some chuckleheads lay down some new donuts on it - but at least they do it after midnight, when nobody is up and about.

Is the Kleeman box visible in the engine bay or is it in the fusebox inside the car (approachable from an open driver's door)?

Did you install it yourself? What is a HID?

I am at two minds whether to get a 2006 in-line six or the new Bluetec.

Surely this says more about your friend rather than members of this forum! I wonder how many readers would love to own a car like that, plus I wonder how many folks were looking out from behind their curtains and were 'upset' by this behaviour, but were perhaps too tactful to approach this yuff and point out what is acceptable behaviour?

Just a thought.

HID's is a term for the high intensity discharge lights, aka xenons

installed mysefl, took less that a hour, and it mounts under the cabin air filter and a cable is ran to each of the six plugs on top of the engine. gaines about 20hp 50 lb ft or torque. not visiblie at all, and not detected on mercedes star computer.

Dont get me wrong, I love to have fun with my car, but that was just crazy stupid, espially with the car door open.

So if a small child rides his bike along in the residential area and gets killed by this idiot thats ok because he's enjoying his ride.
There is a time and place for everything and it looks like that is certainly not the place or the time.

Hopefully one day he might realise there is a right way to behave and perhaps a way that is not quite as mature. Does he still stops at red traffic lights or railway crossings!!
