04 e320 wagon questions

Pneumatic rear springs and automatic level control (not AirMatic). Does anyone kwow how this works...is it passive?
Also, If I get the aftermarket Xenon bulbs and have the SA reset the lights to "xenon", can you still use the DRL...It is my understanding that the xenon function does not "dim" the low beam lights ( or is it just the high beams that function as the DRL?)
Also does anyone know if the cargo rail system ( located in the floor of the cargo area can be retrofitted? ( not the "load floor")
Other than that the car is great...I've read about the Sprintbooster and think that will be my next mod. Anyone with a e320 wagon use one?
You have hydraulic pump at engine, a level sensing valve, hydro struts, and nitrogen accumulators.
It's essentially impossible to convert to conventional rear suspension and a really dumb idea in any event.
re: cargo rail system: anything can be retrofitted.

I am looking into the possibility of picking up a used w211 Wagon…but I DO NOT want any self leveling suspension (more to go wrong long term…I keep cars a long time) and I was under the impression that the hydraulic system for self leveling was canceled with the w210, and if you wanted a self leveling w212 you could get a pneumatic system…ala…Airmatic.
Every Wagon I see with the controls under the shifter in the ) area I dismiss…but do “standard” w211 Wagons have the hydraulic system?
Thanks for any help clarifying this…as even the Data Cards I am pulling up in EPC only tell me “Airmatic” so I was again assuming that the “regular” wagons had a conventional spring and shock…This thread is telling me otherwise…
Thanks again,
Jake

I am learning that ALL w211 Wagons (Estates) have at least a Self Leveling Suspension in the rear...
Now that being said…
How much of it is hydraulic and how much is pneumatic? Is it all pneumatic, or all hydraulic? Thanks all…I will play around in EPC as soon as possible to see what I can learn…
It’s a shame…I really don’t want or “need” SLS…I need a vehicle that my wife can easily put a stroller and other baby items in without it being an SUV…
Thanks!
