A few questions on electronic controls

I spent a good amount of time reading the manual & fiddling with the Nav & settings yesterday. There are 2 things I can't figure out.

1: I set the radio to cycle through the memory preset stations instead of the frequency when using the steering wheel buttons. In FM band mode, it works correctly, but when I'm in Sattelite band, it only cycles up & down by frequency.
I have gone through the setting sequence multiple times.
Is this normal?

2: I don't have the " mirror adjust. parking aid" setting option under the convenience submenu. The manual states that "depending on production date" this option may not be available. My car was built the first week of December. It doesn't make any sense to me that MB would remove such an important (IMHO) option. Is this something the dealer can program back in to the car's computer?

TIA,
David

1) yes
2) possibly if it doesn't involve SCN coding

More details on these 2 questions can be found on the forum as they have been discussed separately.

P.S.
What version is your Nav DVD? 2006.1 or later?

Thanks.
I read most of the threads found by searching "mirror tilt", and it seems as though I might be able to get MB to activate the feature if I get a good tech, but it no longer a standard feature. I'd be interested to hear what other late 2006 production owners have in their 2007 E's. Most of the threads I read were in the S & CLS forums.

Re my Nav disc. It is 2006.1 version.
