Phone and Voice control
Hi all
I just got a 2005 E320 cdi. I love the car. I'm looking at adding an intergrated phone to the car and I've been talking to Steve (MBenzNL) about it. I would do it via Bluetooth, so I'd have to buy the puck, too. I have a couple questions. First, what all is required to add the phone? I mean, what parts are involved if the car is already pre-wired? Next, I found a voice control kit. If I install this alone does it control everything, including navigation? I haven't used one before. Does it work well? Then if I get the phone does everything integrate together?

E Class VCA does NOT control the NAV in any way. You can change stations on the AM, FM, change tracks on the cd, change cd's and dial by name or number on the phone. You can also change to & from various applications on the COMAND. The speech recognition is quite good with the windows rolled up & roof closed. All in all a nice feature.
