Idle speed

How fast should the idle speed be? Mines is 3mph on flat level. 0mph otherwise. It makes it extremely difficult for me to back out or anything fearing i may hit the gas too hard and hit another vehicle.

sounds just right to me.. You dont want a car that idles that fast anyways it would be dangerous. You really should not be backing out of a parking space or garage at more than 5mph anyways. The E class has a very light gas pedal so I would not be concerned about this at all.

After owning my 03' E-500 for 5 months now, I can agree that I am a bit disappointed about the idle speed as well. Just a little more "umph" is all it needs.

It doesn't reach 5mph Esp with hills, rocks or w/e. I want it faster because I can easily control the speed with the brake pedal.
