Navigation DVD Module HELP!!!!!
I have a 2004 E320 sedan. I have a Command unit already installed and i am trying to install a Navigation DVD module in the trunk so i can get navigation. I have been looking around for one but there are so many models and i dont know which one will work in my car...i found two models listed below. last 4 #s are
5226 and 7042.
The dealer wouldnt tell me which model DVD module should i use...can someoen help..who have a 2004 and can check what they have in there car...i will appriciate any help.

Hmmm....There is just one model DVD that works in the W211's. check on Ebay and the listings selling them should have the model number. MB dealers also have the model number. If your dealer refuses, call another dealer.

All the 211's use the same module. You will also need a splitter and a MOST adapter cable to hook it up. Also the trunk side covering will need to be replaced if you want easy access to the Dvd drive. This is a super easy mod.

Nav Installatrion in W211
I made a copy of steph280 web site and took same along with all the parts to a local car radio shop. They installed my Nav unit in 35 minutes at a cost of 50 dollars. My local MB dealer quoted a price of around 250 and a installation time of 2 1/2 hours. Just a suggestion in case you are not handy.
