HID conversion kit?
What do you guys think about this HID kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOSCH...75059989QQrdZ1
Bosch is a high quality manufacturer, right?
How do you get around the lights flickering? I know with carlabs kit you dont need to have the dealership do anything.. its just plug and play. How does that work?
Thanks,
W Cole

I see you live by Fletcher Jones... they will activate "xenon present" for you when you pull in to the service bay. Just ask for the bay technician.... 5 min procedure when they're not busy (which is never

Yikes, there are a lot of parts to install. Are you going to do the install yourself? Also, do you need two kits to convert the high beams as well as the low beams? Also, I noticed that the color spectrum is only 6000k, is this about the same as the factory color spectrum?

I expect BOSCH will have this far eastern pirate in court soon, charging them with attempting to steal the BOSCH name. You won't find this product at http://www.bosch.de

My M3 has Xenon hi beams, but it's a clever way of doing it. The high beams are actually on all the time, except they are covered by a mechanical flap. When you switch to high beam mode, the flap uncovers the rest of the xenon. They call it bi-xenon. This would be too involved a process to implement on MBs.

What leads you to think it's too involved for MBs?

ok. thought i was missing something crucial.
the shutter is electrically triggered. so that just gets tapped into the high beam
wiring. the trick is to find a bixenon projector unit which is as close in physical
size to the OEM unit. so far, I've been using E55 bix projectors as they're near
perfect drop in. next i'll try RS6. I've not done any for W211 yet.
