Pre-wired for Nav?

I'm trying to figure out whether i'm pre-wired for nav.
I've got a nav drive and gps antenna, and will purchase the other brackets/nuts needed to install the drive once I figure out if I'm able to install it.

I read over steph280's OEM Navigation Retrofit post, but I was only able to locate the 2 nuts and screws and remove them...I don't know where to find the luggage hooks.
I've got a mechanic friend who's going to do the install for me as I'm too dumb
to know how to peel off the trunk lining.

But before I order more items...can anyone tell if I'm pre-wired for nav by these photos? I took them with my blackberry so they aren't super good, i'll take better ones if someone can help me out...thanks

The model year of your car might be relevant.

its a 03, if the pictures arent good enough to point out whether I'm navi ready or not some clearer directions on how to fully remove the trunk panel would be great

If its a late 03, then it should be prewired. As my '03 (aug build) was. I installed nav in less then 2 hours.

For the trunk snaps, just use a flat blade screw driver and pop out the center clip then pull out the entire snap. For the hook, remove the top cover, then with a allen wrench, remove the screws. then remove the trunk liner. You will need a new one once the nav is installed.

my car isnt a late build, i think it was sometime in Feb 03...are those wires stiicking out in my pictures typical of a non-pre-wired nav car? it seems like an unnecessary group of open-ended wires...

in one photo i think is a MOST wire connection
and there's also a photo with a blue end that goes into a nav drive... i think.
morgis, the hooks you're talking about are those two metal U shaped things? It's surrounded by a black plastic piece...I'm supposed to just pop it out with a flathead screwdriver? sounds crazy..

There is a top cover on the U shaped things, pop it off with the screw driver, then remove the large screw with the right size allen wrench. The round circular snaps are at the top (2 of them) of the liner near the hinge. They are black about 1/2 inch in size, pop the center out then remove the entire snap
