warranty question

Hi, I just bought my first Mercedes-Benz car (2004 E-320). I say car because I already own some of their big trucks(Freightliner fld classics). I had lots of questions mostly because my owners manual is missing. But upon finding this forum and after 3 intensive hours of reading, almost all are answered.
One I haven't found yet:

Supposedly the remaining factory warranty is still good on the car. I noticed that people were saying up thru 2004 service was also included does this also transfer over? I just got the car on Saturday so I have to take it to a reputable shop for a look over any recommendations?

Yes free basic maintenance (i.e.: oil changes) is included with your vehicle for 48 months or 50,000 miles , whichever comes first. However, note that basic does not include wear items such as wipers, brake pads/rotors, etc.

Yep, Konigstiger is right. And I recommend Euromotorcars-Germantown for your service needs. I take my car there and have a good relationship with my SA and shop foreman. They have gone above and beyond for me a few times.

Thank you. I bought the owners manuals off ebay, and am already looking at upgrades. Visual at first, of course (lowering, 19" rims, tint, and quad pipes). But I want to install nav and bluetooth phone capabilities also . I'm looking forward my first road trip to FL in it. I usually make the trip in a dodge truck.
