It's all different in Canada, beware - MB Canada has its own liust of options (e.g. leather is always included, auto wipers, metallic paint: I have a whole list of options since I have a sales manual.)

So help me out here..is this comparision of the 320 vs 500 correct?

Difference on the actual car before gas guzzler and increase lux tax is 4820. price difference of the same equiped car 5964.60.

But keep in mind that with the E500 you get the the E4 package included (which is $100 right now on E320, normally $550), and you get the 4 zone climate control (normally $550). So if you are trying to do a 1 to 1 comparision (not considering the engine of course), you are getting $650 more of options on the E500 than on the similar E320.

you forgot that e550 comes with 4 zone climate control and e320 has to add $550 to get this feature.

btw, leather and adc are included in e500 (you don't have to buy e3 to have them)

Thanks, I forgot those two items, so to add those options to the 320 the 500 is 5314.00 over the price of a 320.

The E4 option is for the split rear seats and folding front seats. It is N/C on E500 and normally $550 on the E320, but right now they have a launch promotion so it is only $100 on the E320.

I thought E4 was an option for the 500 too. I knew about the promo price but thought that apllied to both models. Where did you see that is standard equipment on the 500?

most of dealers do not know this promotion but the correct price will come out from the dealer's pricing system when you place an order.

this promotion may be ended anytime.

I did order but the last time I talked to my dealer about it (several weeks) it was a $100. I guess it's N/C for me now!
