Arrow Vehicle pulls and/or front suspension noisy?

DTB P-B-33.10/21 FEB07 Vehicle pulls slightly to one side when brakes are applied at low speeds. All 211 & 219 models. May also be accompanied by small movement of the steering wheel, the cause may be related to a lower ball-joint which has excessive friction. Lower ball joint on the side to which the vehicle pulls slightly will be replaced.

DTB P-B-33.12/22 FEB07 Squeaking/thumping noise from front axle/upper ball joint sealing boot on upper control arm damaged/torn. All 170, 211, 215, 219, 220, and 230 models. Cause may be that the tapered portion of the ball joint was over torqued. This will pull the tapered portion of the ball joint too far into the steering knuckle so that the sealing boot is too taut on the joint and is twisted in this area with each rotary movement until the sealing bellows suffer a fatigue fracture. As a result, the joint corrodes and causes noises. The joint will be replaced.
