E550 with HIDs
What package should i get to get HIDs? Does the base E550 only have halogens?

The packages are different in different countries. Canada/USA/Europe/Austrailia, etc. Guys post here from all over the world. Where are you located?

I'm in the US.

I just thought it's kind of weird that the E class wouldn't have HID standard. Some lady said I need the highest package just to get the lights. The package said bi-xenons. I just want xenons

Bixenons are xenons... they use the existing xenon bulb also be act as your high beam

I must agree- Having HID lights as an "option" in totally lame.
50-100K for an E class and HID lights are an "option"?? Total and utter BS from start to finish.
