Count me in...
I put down $1k to get a position on the W211 AMG today. Now all I have to do is wait a couple of years...and pray that the supercharged 55 engine is in it! Anyone else waiting?
Dealer said there are six people ahead of me (some cronies who buy one of every AMG that comes out for resale), but I think that is bull**** because they said the same thing about the CLK55 when I signed up for it. I ended up getting mine in November, while the first cars were released in September.
If the european release of the normal E is this spring...the USA gets in the fall 2002 ...AMG version could be here...in a year (spring 2003), or a year and a half, two years at most I would think.
