Where to buy new wiper blades?

Hi,

I need to replace the wiper blades on my 2004 E320, but the cost at the dealership is pretty pricey. Is there a preferred place to buy them online? Also, I've never put wiper blades on myself. Are they easy to install yourself?

Thanks.

I'd try a search for the many posts that deal with wiper blades.

I am sure your local PepBoys or Kragen will have the wiper. At least that's how I got mine

Pep Boys doesn't carry them. BTW I have found that the "factory" blades on the 211's had lasted 3 times longer than the blades on my other "conventional" cars. Although more expensive than the others, the rate of replacement makes them "not unreasonable" because there a fewer replacements.

But DO check around on line for genuine OEM replacements. There can be a $30 dollar difference between the on line price & a few Highway Robber Dealership Parts department prices. Not all dealerships charge the same price for these blades, & the difference in price is kind of amazing!

Do a search here too. I have seen some good prices in various posts. Also go in and have your favorite SA interoduce you to the parts guy when you don't need anything. Tell him next time you come in you'll bring him a cup of coffee. A friend in the parts department can make a huge difference in the price you pay for stuff there. Huge because they don't HAVE to charge you "list".

I've used both for a long time. Never had a problem with either one.
