Warranty on SBC Hydraulic Unit be AWARE!!!

Guys wanted to make you guys aware of Extended Limited warranty on SBC Hydraulic Units Model 2003-2006. If you get malfunction on your car it read..

BRAKE
Take care into workshop.. be aware that you might be asked to pay for the part but you shouldn't pay..

thanks to MB Elite of newport beach really stand up guy.. let me know that this part in your mercedes is covered for 10 yrs regardless if your mercedes s out of a warranty..

I was told by a service advisor at fletcher jones of newport beach that the part was 1300 plus labor..

He never mentioned that mercedes was going to cover this replacement, I was told of this warranty Item by MB Elite.. Again I have much respect for the small independent Mercedes Mechanics that start there own shop..

I little upset that fletcher jones would try to stick me with the bill for something they should cover.. I'm just glad I had some previous knowledge..

MB mailed out a huge vinyl sticker with the revised warranty on the SBC system explaining exactly what is covered. You are supposed to stick it to the inside cover of the Warranty Book. If you didn't get it call them & ask for it. They are trying to do the right thing. I thought I saw it poster here about 10 months ago...

Mercedes Benz sent a letter to all owners on record. If you did not receive one you need to register. If you are the second owner, A change of ownership postcard is in the owners / service manual, fill it out and send it in.
