I finished a trip to Florida this weekend and endured several thunderstorms on the way to Atlanta. First time I have really used the wipers for any length of time. The rain sensing gizmo is too sensitive for my taste. Wipers are somewhat distracting and rain-x reduces the need. Since everything else on this car (03 / 320) is computer controlled, can the interval / sensitivity be adjusted?

No, the sensitivity is not adjustable. In the intermittent position the speed is
totally dependent on the sensor. So, just turn off under the above circumstances
and use the single swipe when needed.
