So my dealer *assured* me my car would be here today. They were so confident that they brought me in on saturday to do all the paperwork, get the financing etc. I sold my other car at carmax this morning.... sure enough my car was the only one not on today's truck! ARGH. They think it will come on the next truck, but don't know for sure. And naturally, I have a business trip tomorrow so the earliest I can pick it up is thursday assuming it gets here.
At least the gave me a C240 as loaner until I get it.

Put out an All Points Bulletin, get a picture on the side of all the milk cartons in the area it was last seen and lets track that vehicle down!!!

Basic Black -- I would rather have your color but compulsive, must have it now people, take what the dealer has to offer.
You do get cheated a bit with basic black b/c metallic colors are a feebie on the e500.

I feel your pain. I ordered my car mid-late July, and I was assured it would arrive late Sept. Well it did, but the car was not what I ordered, to make things worst, (not that it mattered as I ordered another one) I went in to see the colour combination I ordered to see how I would like it, and my sales rep showed me a car that was not only equipped with options I did not order, but with different colours! It was like they took my order form, and ordered for someone else. But whatever, all is good now, but well, its going to be another 2 months wait! AH!!!
