thoughts and feedback pls....
So i am new to the mercedes community. I really liked the design and classy looks of the 2007 E series. I took advantage of some lease incentives and was able to get a great 27 month lease on a white/cash 2007 e 350. The car looks great, drives really smooth and i love the inboard navigation (although I am still new at it's capabilities). My only negative so far is that the car is a bit slow. I guess i knew that getting into it and really didnt wanna pay 300 more a month on my lease for the 550. I never even test drove the 550. I guess i am wondering how fast it is? How fast is the amg series of the 2007 E? I am coming off driving a lightly modified audi a6 2.7t (chip'd, downpipes, exhaust) Stock the audi was 265 with all the mods it was over 300. Kinda makes my 350 feel like more of a crusing car than a performance car. Still love the car and am by no means bashing it, it's a beautifully enginered piece of machinery. What performance mod's if any can i do to my e350 to give her a little more pep?
Also i just ordered the MHI interface (updated version) at my local dealer, $420. Sounds a little pricey did i get ripped off?

Congratulations, As far as mods on a lease car, I would do one of the ECU tunes 4 players in that game, and then add a "sprint booster". Then save some money for an AMG cause after you drive one, and you will sooner or later, you will want one 507HP.

I have a ton to learn about the mercedes tuning world. Got so wrapped up in it with the audi it was almost obsessive. I think because i have a lease i will likely just do an ecu upgrade with some kind of flashloading handheld to change modes back to stock when needed. (if that exist with mercedes like it does with audi/vw) I got ways to go before the amg... but ill get there. Thanks for the reply
