Comand stuck on MUTE

I got in the car this morning and - no audio! The mute indicator is on. Depressing the mute button didn't help. Power cycling the car/Comand didn't help. Pulling fuse #6 didn't help.

Is this a Comand issue or an AGW issue?

Thanks.

Can you go into command and take it off mute? Battery disconnect? Or perhaps go to factory defaults reset your computer on the wheel? Some possible fixes. Sorry I am not sure any of em will work. Hopefully someone who has had this happen will be able to help.

I got it working again. It required disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it again. Pretty scary......hopefully this doesn't become a frequent issue!

I was just going to ask if the radio controls on
the steering wheel of an ‘07 E350 has a mute.

This’s what you’re talking about, right? I know
it has a volume up & down, etc.

My '05 does not have mute on the steering wheel - not sure if the '07 does. The mute button I was referring to is the one on the comand.
