A win for the good guys...
On a serious note Hoop, the reason you received that response is we here at MB World.org have to many individuals who see fit to cut down just about every thread of a persons face-off experience. We all, if I can speak on behalf of us at this time, find this very tiresome and a constant annoyance. Yes, we all want your opinion, but, make it in proper manner, using remarks, though censored i.e. ******* isn't going to get you very far on these forums.
I for one understand these amazing works of automobile ingenuity were meant for nothing less but per performance, and yes the occasional drag race down the street is a bad idea, but you know what? I paid 60 thousand dollars for my automobile, and I'm getting every freaking pennies worth.
I live just outside of Las Vegas and I’m told that at any given time, I’m sharing the road with a very high percentage of drunk drivers. I have to tell you that I’d prefer to continue sharing the roads with them, then to deal with the same number of people sobber, racing each other in pairs at 130 mph, on their way home. It sounds a bit silly but the point is valid and I find both behaviors to be inexcusable.
Maybe the moderators could move posts about street racing to the appropriate forums. I believe there’s a Kill Stories forum here.
I’m curious, how’s everybody feel about drunk driving here on MBWorld? I just want to make sure that I don’t rattle any cages, should I happen to speak out against it at some point.
there are so many accidents caused by racing, but after warning and harsh penalty by government, they didn't bring down the number ... and you think your word alone can reduce the number? think again.

if you don't excuse both behaviour, you would've said so instead of comparing between those two, because either racing or drunk driving can pose big danger to others.
what a hypocrite

MotorWerkz I can see your point, but let's not take this any further than it already has gone. I take no sides, but lets not jump to conclusions about what a persons done, or has not done. Remember, innocent until proven guilty mate.
SO HOWS EVERYBODY FEEL TO GETTING BACK ON TOPIC!
How about some koom-bye-ya, maybe some smores? Haha

Not that I have to state this but... so we are clear.
I wasn't on a city street. It was on a secondary highway then getting on a main highway. We did not weave through traffic b/c there wasn't any. We didn't cut anyone off b/c there weren't other cars around. When we did see traffic up ahead... we quickly slowed down. I don't think driving like a madman is a wise thing to do. Whether someone does or does not drive in this manner is their decision. We are all accountable for our own actions and I stated in the original post, I knew I would take some "feedback". I welcome the comments as this is a public forum and when posting one opens the door for all comments... good, bad or indifferent. I have always known this to be a very friendly forum with lots of mutual respect... (except when someone drops 22" chromes on their car... hahha) I have one last statement...
"I BEAT THAT DAMN BMW IN MY GRANDMOM SEDAN" he was a good sport and we had a good laugh... one for the goods guys. (that's us in case it is not apparent)
oh btw... IF you see a 1970 Corvette Convertible coming down street sideways... just move please... I have a clutch issue that makes the car dump and run at 5200 rpm....
It is called... "left foot syndrome..."
