MbenzNL to the Southeast?
OK, I have talked with MbenzNL (his sister) about him coming to the east coast and possibly to the southeast. Before Steve has only been to DC and anyone that wanted something done would have to drive there.
Now I am trying to get an idea on the number of MB owners in the southeast (Carolinas and Georgia) that would be interested in getting some work done if Steve was to come by. I have not yet (even though he or Bigsis might be reading this) asked if he would be available but I figured that if we are enough MB owners in the south east we might able to persuade him to come by.
Please use the poll to indicate your interest.

His quotes are quite expensive ... but his level of professionalism, work ethic and quality of work surpass any dealership or car expert that I have ever known.
In essence, you get what you pay for ... plus, he does what dealers WON'T do.

So it looks like there are 4 board members that has some level of interest of having Steve do some work on their cars.
If you are still interested plase send me a PM with where in the south east you live and I'll send Steve an email to see if he wants to stop by the next time he is in the US.

I talked to Wanda and got this back:
Let me ask Steve. He has just returned from his CA visit, and I will see him tomorrow. I will let you know if he is willing to come out any time soon.
The truth is, though, that he is getting more and more work through dealerships in California, and that is what he always wanted to achieve. So travelling around from State to State is something he MAY be doing less in the future.
Also, it is important for us to know WHAT mods have to be installed. If it's only for some versioncoding, Steve won't fly to the East Coast for sure. It really has to be worthwhile.
Anyways, I will let you know once I have been able to discuss this with him.
