Handling of E320 vs E350
Hi:
New to the forum and btw great forum. The lease on my 2004 E320 will be ending soon and I am thinking of upgrading to E350. I will test drive one when the time comes but would like to get any feedback if anyone has regarding the handling of a E350 is compared to E320. Is it more responsive than the before ? Does it give more sports like feel but at the same time maintains the smoothness?
Thank you.

07 E350 vs E320
I currently have and 07 E350 which replaced my 06 E350 with the AMG sport packege. I also drive an E320 when I'm in LA for several weeks at a time. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the 06 and escpecially the 07 E350 is far superior in all counts including handling. Much tighter ride with more road feel and taught steering. Maybe not as sporty as a BMW 5 series but I think the newest E350 is just the right blend for me. I would never purchase an E320 for the lack of power alone.

But after pushing a v8 monster like the GL450, I can't ride in the E320 and be satisfied...

Sorry to revive an older thread, but I didn't want to create another post on similar subject.
So, are there suspension and steering differences between an '05 E320 and an '06 E350? Is this what's responsible for the improved handling?
Where can I find a full list of changes between these two model years? My dad is considering a used MB, and these kind of fall into his budget. I was just curious if it makes sense to pay a bit extra for the '06. He's not a speed demon, so the HP/torque increase isn't as crucial to him, but if there are other niceties that come with an '06, I'd like to know what they are. I know they switched to a 7-speed tranny in '06, but I'm not sure if that's necessarily a good thing... I read some people complaining about it.
Thanks.

One day as Mr. Squirrel was walking through the forest he came across a well. Just as he passing by he heard cries for help. He looked down in the dry well and Ms. Cow cried up for help out. "Don't worry Ms. Cow," said Mr. Squirrel. "I'll have you out in a bit." Mr. Squirrel ran out and came driving back in his brand new Ferrari. With a rope tied around the brand new badass car he pulled Ms. Cow out. Everything worked out perfectly.
The next day Mr. Elephant was walking by the same well. Ms. Cow was stuck again. Mr. Elephant looked down into the well and said "Don't worry Ms. Cow, I'll have you out. Hold on!" Mr. Elephant unzipped and pulled down his pants. He dropped his thing down into the well and pulled Ms. Cow up and out.
What's the moral of the story?
IF YOU HAVE A BIG D**K YOU DON'T NEED A FANCY POWERFUL CAR. (OR A V-8 OVER A V-6 OR 4-BANGER FOR THAT MATTER)
