Cost for e-4 package on the E500

Cost for e-4 package on the E500
Does anyone know for sure if the e500 has the e-4 package included or is it 100 bucks or is it 500 bucks? I just ordered my e500 and the slaesman had no idea, nor did he have any bulletins. Does anyone know what the real deal is, or how I can find out for certian? Thanks

Damn do I feel dumb, I never even check on the 500 I demoed?
I will call tomorrow and ask him to check it out for me. I was going to order it if it was 100 bucks but my dealer said it was 500....not worth 500 buck to me.

You should call up MS USA directly and ask them. For example, for religious reasons, I don't want leather in my car, instead I want the MB-Tex material throughout. The dealers always tell me that it can't be done.
I called up MB USA (go to the website, click contact us and get the 800 number). If they don't know the answer, they will go to their product marketing folks, and get the right answer.
In the end, they told me it could be done, and that I should talk to the sales manager at the dealership directly and have them talk to their MB Rep. I'll find out how well this works when I actually place my order.

indicates that E4 is free on the 500. But I don't know if that is correct based on some previous postings on the forum. I know for a fact that it is $100 for the E320 since multiple dealers have told me so, but it is a limited time promotion and no one can tell me when it is going away.
