LEDs for front turn signals (W211)

Did anybody install LED’s in the front turn signal lamps on W211?
I would like to put LED’s but don’t know where to install the extra load resistors – I have Xenon headlights and don’t want to mess around w/ high voltage.
Maybe someone can identify for me colors of the cables for the front turn signals and ground cable? My e-class is MY 2006.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Since you cannot see the lamps themselves just get a chrome standard bulb. You won't have the orange reflection and no additional wiring. I think I got mine at Pepboys

I like the rapid on/off action of the LED bulbs. I'm sure someone had it done.

I think the rapid on/off action is dependant on the turn signal relay. It does not sense enough of a load so it flashes fast. That is if I understand what you are saying.

And if you put a capacitor or a dummy load parallel with the bulb to stop the ‘check bulb’ indicator I think it would also defeat the fast flashing you wanted to start with.
