Anybody Ever Put On New Side Skirts For Lowering Look?
I ‘think’ they’re called Side Skirts. (The metal or plastic strips
that go from front to back under the doors.)
I saw an E350 the other day that looked “lower” then normal.
Looked like it had wider side skirts which made it look closer
to the ground and level ... instead of the rear end sticking up
some. (I don’t like the rear looking higher than the front.)
They appeared to widen as they went toward the back, which
would account for the car looking more level.
What was I looking at? Was this a mod, available through MB
parts? Anyone else ever install these?
I liked the less space look between the ground and bottom of
the car. And without changing the suspension, probably.

Just get the car first Jimm!!!! Haha.
I would stick to the original side skirts. Side skirts are very prone to chipping and a replacement sideskirt would require a paint job which I can say definitely will not be as good as it is at the factory or VPCs.
You could put on AMG side skirts, but I don't think it would flow very well unless you did the bumpers as well.
