Side mirror folding

I do not have the "comfort" submenu on my steering wheel commands that allows me to fold in the external mirrors automatically for parking per the owners manual. Anyone know how to do it another way? Thanks for any advice.

Tom,

IF you are in USA, folding mirrors are not standard nor are they optional. If you are out of US, folding mirrors may be an option there. IF you got folding mirrors as a factory option, the menu will be in the cluster. If they were added afterwards, the menu would have to be enabled with a factory Star Diagnose system.

I put them on my car this Spring. Wasn't too difficult. It would've helped to had have some instructions though.

Here's how they turned out:

My mirrors on my ML wont fold automatically when I put the car in reverse, I was told that its because I dont have the memory seat package. Can it be reprogrammed with the stardiagnosis?

Some people like to look in them when they back up.

Do you know the cost of the folding mirrors from Steve? I had to replace the mirrors on my car a few months ago, and they cost a whopping fee of $1184 including labor.

I bought mine from a board member but Steve sells them for 750.00 I think. Contact BigSis here on MBWorld.
