Missing Mufflers Advice
To install my aftermarket exhaust tips I needed to remove the mufflers so the tips didn’t protrude out to far. I am not looking to gain any hp (or lose any), I just wanted the new look and maybe a slight increase in sound. The sound is too much for my taste without the rear mufflers. I don’t know anything about exhaust and back pressure, so can anyone tell me what affects I will encounter for removing the rear mufflers (besides the sound)? Also the muffler shop recommended I install another set of resonators to replace the muffler if I want to cut the sound back. Any input??
