Supercharger !!

Just wondering if anyone has installed a supercharger in there w211 e500. I have been looking at a few and would like some feed back. I have looked at the Renntech & HPS systems. Any info would be great

its a costly mod. most of the time they would just buy an e55

For the price that you're gonna pay for a SC, might as well get an E55 or similar. You'll get more bang for you buck since you'll also be getting the AMG tuned suspension, brakes, exhaust, staggered rims, interior and etc etc etc etc.

Thanks for some of your feedback I was also looking into the E55 as well but if I am going to switch cars and I think I might, The switch will definatley be to a 2005 CL65

Your doing the supercharger not to go faster - cheaper but to have a very rare car. Yes an e55 might be more bang for the buck but they aren't one of a kind. Look at Kleemann, I was going to supercharge my e320. Around the same time I decided I wanted to be a race car driver, the race car thing won out over the supercharging. One money pit is enough.

There is a KLEEMANN SC for sale on craigslist in the los angeles area for $1,000.00 , sounds like a good deal.

If you put $40,000 into a E500 it would smoke an E55 and an e63 AMG like a blunt.
Kleeman E500 Stage 2 Supercharger - $9K (adds 160hp w/ no engine mods)
Kleeman E500 Stage 2 Supercharger & engine package -around $18K for total package
Gives you 515+ hp and 500+ ft-lb torque and you still have $22,000 left to spend

Plus, upgrade SC is only the engine mod, how about the exhaust, Break, rotors, rims, intake.... there is a lot of other mod that will cost $10K

E55K cost around $26K - $33K depending condition. And it will be easier to fix since there are many number of 55K engine than Kleemann.

If you waant spend $40K...... $30K in E55K + $10K mod = 600HP not 515HP. Plus, with better intake, exhaust, handle and break system.
