anyone own a 3 series or 5 series as well

I had a 3 series and still own a 5 series BMW. Bimmer is much more a sporty ride but the E350 is the one that we love for trips. Both have been great and reliable. E350 by far for looks.

My wife bought an '06 330i last year, fully loaded. She loves it. Very fast car off the line, but I still crush her anywhere past 20 MPH. Her car has been in the shop for oil changes only. Unfortunately, my car has been in the shop a lot.

2007 MB E550 Sport
I currently own both. See sig.
BMW M3: Fast - in a raw way. Fun to go through the gears. Flashy - attracts a lot of attention (some unwanted...no tickets yet...). Amazing handling.
MB E550: Fast - in a smooth way. Opulent, but stealthy. Gets better gas mileage than the M3. Bi-xenons are extremely bright - moreso than my M3's.
I've worked hard to earn both - and I'm lucky to have both. So I have come to appreciate quality, character and workmanship. Both cars have these traits.
