extended warranty?

extended warranty?
Does anyone know what a good deal on the extended warranty would be? Right now the extended warranty for 5 year/100,000 miles is $2500. Also, what is the invoice cost of the warranty? Thanks in advance for your help

The way I read your post, amdeutsch is correct.
For comparison purposes only, I paid about the same to extend my 12 month/100,000 CPO warranty to 24/100,000 a year ago for a 53,000 miles E320 with a lot of electronic options. I am a firm believer in having a warranty on any MB for which you can purchase one.
Although I have not compared the MB warranties with any of the after-market ones, I think you'd be better served with one from MB.

What I really want to know is should I expect to pay $2500 or should I be able to negotiate a better price for the extended warranty? Have any of you paid less than $2500 for a one-year/100,000 mile extended warranty? Thanks for the input.
