Maintence Manual and Brake parts
Auto just dropped off factory maintenance. Brake pad wear light is now on. Need to do a brake pad change on the rear drive line, the front pads have plenty of wear left. Question, 1) a good source for brake pads and the needed parts, 2) a good shop manual, do people buy the aftermarket or factory ones.

get the genuine manual from MBUSA
Assuming your W211 is 2003 to 2006 MY, you can get this DVD directly from MBUSA.
The Manual is called "STAR Service, Service Manual Library, Model 211" and
the part number is P-2700-211-06.
It contains everything a DIYer needs to know for routine maintenance.
