Nope, don't like it. Black on black reminds of Goth's in black clothes, black make-up, black hair and black nail polish.
That the taint is so dark that other people cannot see who is driving doesn't help. Part of driving safely is making eye contact with other drivers. There is a reason dark windows are illegal in some states.

There are a few E's in my area with chrome wheels and plenty of chrome, I just wanted to be different.
As for my taillights, they look really dark in the pic, but they aren't so bad, once again I was going for the a clean black on black look.
I'm sorry if my tint is so dark, I know in NC they have very strict laws, but down here it doesnt really matter. Maybe it looks so dark b/c I have my windshield tinted as well ? Either way be looking out for my car in the Charlotte area, more than likely be selling it to my Uncle this week.
Thanks for everyones input though !

owasome job...! congratulations..
one question, the E55 exhaust, i am doing the same thing, was it hard? how did you install it? did you have to buy addaptors or something? where did you get it and how much?
did you cut the bumper? Does it sound different?
Thanx for your help!!

Out Of Control!!
Im not a fan of the wheels... I think Black wheels with polished lip on a black car is over done... I would black out any visible chrome on the car... and then either black out the lip of the wheel, or another color...

Cutting the bumper was the hardest part, b/c I did it first before installing the exhaust. Measuring, taping up, trying to be precise, and just making sure it looks super clean makes it very challenging. Once I got that out of the way, I just went to my local exhaust shop and had them cut my exhaust about 1.5 ft from the mufflers, and weld the AMG mufflers on. It has a deep but mellow sound to it when given gas, but on the highway, just cruising you cant hear anything.
I tinted the taillights by using clearcoat and mixing a few drops of black paint to give it a dark tint. I just sprayed them until they were as dark as I wanted, eventually it took 4 coats. As far as the percentage, I couldn't tell you....
