I thought that figure is interesting. I wonder if world wide there are more E-class diesel's than petrol engines. In Australia you can only get the E270CDI, but in Europe they also have the E320CDI which has the same performance figures as the petrol version E320. Diesel is not very popular here and it does cost more per litre, although you get more per km.
