I made the jump - 2007 E320 on way
dealer found a new 07 e320 white / cashmere for me (its for florida after all). after $1,000 deposit and hopefully car arriving on Tuesday, I'll be picking up next Wednesday. Lease on BMW 330 Coupe ends at end of month and am happy about the switch. The BMW is a great car, and not a penny spent on maintenance, but I need a bit more room and cushion between me and the asphalt. Looking forward to the new experiences and will post pic's when possible.

Your won't believe this!!!!!!!!
Picked up my new '07 E320 today from dealer. Was riding on cloud nine all the way home, until WHAMMO, hit in the rear while sitting in traffic. Cute young thing in Hyundai put a several nice dents, gouges and scrapes in my brand new rear bumper. Of course the entire front left side of her car was accordianized. A careless driving citation just doesnt seem enough punishment for such a crime. I still can't believe this, my wife had not even seen the car yet, and NO I hadn't even reported the purchase to my insurance company. Fortunately there is a grace period which allows for this, and you can be I'll be reporting the "crime" tomorrow.
On the very positive side, the car is a wonderful ride, and my Nokia 8801 paired with the bluetooth puck first time out. (only problem there is that the phone book sync'd, but only took one entry for each name (on Nokia phones you enter the name once and then can enter as many numbers as a person might have).
At any rate, I'll be taking the now abused vehicle to the dealer repair facility as soon as State Farm approves the repair.
Talk about ruining a good day.
