Dynamic Seats
Hey guys, for those of you who have dynamic seats I was wondering why everytime I have a passenger get in the car they have to press the dynamic seat button for it to activate? Shouldnt it automatically turn on when it senses someone in the seat? Anyone know a setting issue or suggestion that can possibly make this option a bit more practical? (I got an '05 320 not too long ago)

Barry, can you explain this a little more?
Let's say my wife is in the passenger seat with they dynamic function activated. I can then push Memory(1) on the driver door and every time a passenger sits down after that, the dynamic function of the passenger seat will be automatically activated?
Or, would she need to push Memory(1) on the passenger seat. Then, every time a passenger sits down, they would need to push the Memory(1) button on the passenger door to activate it.

She has to Memorize ALL her settings for HER seat with HER door buttons. Including the Drive Dynamic Seat "On" Setting. That way, if someone moves her seat, when she next gets into the car & presses the button for her seat memory, EVERYTHING will be as it was. It always worked like that on my '04. Also works on your seat, with your door buttons. BTW, if someone thinks the seat is off, they should first inflate the bolsters snugly. The last person might have been fatter & the thinner person cant feel the bladders inflate & deflate because they're "too far away" from their body.
(On my '07 I couldn't get those seats)
They should have made the DIC display the passenger seat DD Seat "On" momentarily like it does when you switch it on for the driver. Those LED lights can't be seen by anything other than the eyes in your shoes!

Right, that's what I thought. There is no way to have the passenger seat's dynamic function turn on without doing one of two things. You can either reach over and hit the dynamic button or have the passenger hit one of the memory buttons. I hate the fact that an unsuspecting passenger can't be wowed by the dynamic feature without me reaching down by his or her leg and turning on the dynamic button first.

Mine works whenever I get in the car if I had it on at the time I turned off the car. Since I have keyless go, it'll memorize the state (on or off) during keyless go operation, or normal operation.
