Scratched Rim, LEASED car
Hi All, today I was driving through a drive-thru for a bank and hit a curb and scratched my rear right rim. The scratch is along the outer part of the rim near the tire. Its about 2 inches long, its not that noticable but its there. Since this is a leased car, will the dealership make me pay for this?? The rim doesn't have any cracks and its just a basic rim scratch. Does anyone know what the verdict will be when I return the car? I leased the car from Ray Catena Mercedes in jersey. Please help!! Thanks.

When my lease was up on my last Mercedes they sent me a small credit size card. Put simply, if any damage was smaller than the card they would not charge for it.
Seemed very generous to me but I think they want you back as a customer rather than nickel and dime you to death.

They won't care. I leased a couple of cars from them before. I returned a Benz with a bent rim and an Infiniti with a small dent in the fender. They saw it, but didn't even mention it. What loudbmw said is correct. If you can cover it with a credit card, no sweat.
