Vibrating - my next move

After installing new wheels/tires (18x8 et28, continentalprocontact), I felt vibrations in the steering wheel, although i felt vibrations before on my stocks, they seemed to have been amplified due to the increase in wheel size.. now i have had the wheels balanced twice since installation, on the hunter road-force machine... apparently, the wheels are "straight as an arrow, no defects" and the tires are fine aswell... so if its not balancing causing the vibration, then my next move is to take it to the dealership...as we all already know what my dealers response will be "its the wheels/tires," I was wondering what to tell them to look for, tighten my steering wheel rack? check the bushings? etc...,
what suggestions do you guys have?

I suggest slapping your OEM wheels back on before you go the dealer. They can't blame it on the after market wheels then, right?

Mention DTB P-B-33.15/16a Dealer will inspect the torque strut bushings and if found to be hydro-mount or partially hollow rubber style bushings, will install solid rubber replacements.

While in also inquire about Service Campaign 2006040004 Clean sleeves on front axle and install new bolts/washers VIN range as it pertains to your vehicle: A014562 – A600000, X097696 – X116123. Even if your VIN is outside this range have the dealer check VMI for this and any/all service campaigns and recalls applicable to your vehicle.

FYI for you and any other members experiencing front axle problems:

DTB P-B-33.10/21 Vehicle pulls to one side when brakes are applied; dealer will replace lower ball joint to which side the vehicle pulls.

DTB P-B-33.15/22 Squeaking or thumping noises from the front axle; dealer will replace upper ball joints.

Could also be the Continental Pro Contacts flat-spotting. These are the tires on my car & they seem to flat spot far worse than any other tire I have had. Every morning when I first get on the freeway the car shakes like crazy for about 5-10 minutes then completely smooths out with time. Somewhat annoying!!!
