Does a Euro COMAND have higher FM reception sensitivity?
I've just upgraded to a Euro COMAND and noticed that the FM radio reception is much better than what it used to be on my stock radio. Being down in San Diego, I can now pick up stations from Los Angeles without any problems. While being able to pick up more stations, I have noticed that the audio quality of FM transitions is not as good as it used to be with the stock unit. Even with local stations I get a bit of static noise and other sound imperfections.
I was wondering if any other owners of Euro COMANDs noticed this phenomenon in the US. Do you experience 'static' FM reception on your units?
