A couple of quick pic's of the clear corners with the amber bulbs on the '08. The amber bulb doesn't showup as much as I expected. Stealth bulbs are on order from XenonMods.

Looks nice. How did you install the markers? Did you do it yourself?

It's a simple install. I removed the plastic belly pan at the front bumper (8 hex screws) to get full access to each side. The lens snaps in/out at the rear; it's a little tough to get the clips to release so I ended up using pliars to compress the clips.

It's a subtle change but I think it cleans up the look of the front.

How's the quality of those aftermarket clear markers? Does the construction look sloppy? Do they feel any different from the OEM ones?

I'm happy with the quality. The fit is just like the OE lens.

+1. Makes it look more like the euro bumper which has no side markers. And the orange just doesn't look good as well...

I too dropped the lower front plastic pan but could barely get my arm up the front bumper to reach the light and even after I could squeeze the two prongs toward the back of the light the light would not come out. Am I missing something?

It's very tight and hard to get a good grip, I used some needle nose to squeeze it , it eventually snapped out.

I agree they're tight. I was afraid of breaking the clips but a strong squeeze with pliars and they eventually released. The clips are stronger than you might think, so really "bear down" and they will come loose.

My issue is that there is not enough room to get my hand with pliers onto the clips? The only other option is I will try to remove the front portion of my front fender well to see if I can access the light from the back rather then underneath.

I just got done doing mine. It was a pain to get the clip behind the marker so they would come out. I used a smaller flat head screw driver to help squeeze the clips and push the marker out.

Getting to the back of the markers was pretty easy. I just turned the wheels inward on the side you are working on and popped the two clips out of the wheel well. You can then pull open the wheel well and access the rear of the marker.

Pay no attention to my unwashed car.

The bottom clip is underneath.

Here's another picture of the clear markers.

Looks nice Hoping to get mine done this weekend.

How did you remove the clips from the wheel well? Do they just pull out?

They pull right out. The clips are a two piece deal. You have to pull the center core out first, then the clip will be able to compress and come out.

I agree... should have been done that way from factory. I swapped the amber bulbs for silver bulbs and it does remove the "egg yolk" look.

I could not quite figure out exactly which ones are silver from Hoen; do you have the part/model # from Hoen?

I don't think the bulbs I bought are Hoen's. Mine are from http://www.xenonmods.com. $12.99 plus $1.00 shipping.

My mistake. I see two models 194/168 & 906/921 (dual filament). I presume you got the 194/168. Please confirm.
