Navigation Question
I want to upgrade my navigation system so it will do the estimation of travel time. If I upgrade to the latest nav dvd will this do it for me or is there a software upgrade that I have to do for the command center?
Thanks!

I believe that they are currently on different disc. I had to ask my SA to order a service disc for the update. When I got the new Nav DVD earlier this year, it didn't come with this update(I have ver 2006.2)

Nav Update messed up routing
I had the latest COMAND update last week & installed the version 2007.1 Nav DVD. Now, the Nav system does not plan a direct route to my destinations. Example; I'm about 60 miles north of San Francisco along highway 101. When I try to plot a route to a location in Sausalito, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Nav takes me East to Richmond CA (just north of Oakland) West across the Bay Bridge, thru San Francisco, North across the Golden Gate bridge to my destination in Sausalito. Dealer can't figure it out. So, I get the dealer to pull the DVD from a new 08 E350 & try it in my 04 E320. Wow it works fine. I check the DVD & it's version 2006.2. Checked all the other Nav 08 350's and they all have 2006.2 version DVD disks. Dealer has ordered a new 2007.1 DVD in case my copy is bad but I suspect that the 2007.1 version is not totally compatible with the 04 Nav system. If the new 2007.1 disk also can not do a direct route I'll see if they can get me a 2006.2 disk. I can't go back to my original 2004.1 DVD because they tossed it when they installed the 2007.1 DVD.
Any ideas, suggestions?

I haven't had any problems with the 2007.1 disc at all. That is really weird. I did notice that my 2007.1 disc case has only certain compatible cars on the cover, and I was told that other cars require a different disc?
I hope you get it worked out.
