Roadtrip Results - 9 hours of fun
On my roadtrip last week, I achieved the following driving results:
Each way - I snapped a pic of the display around the 9 hr. time marker.
From Austin -
9 hr
593 miles
66 MPH avg
28.8 MPG
Returning to Austin -
9 hr 1 min
571 miles
63 MPH avg
29.2 MPG
Pretty consistent run for such a long drive cradled in the luxury of a fine 7 speed MB E500. Let me know if you get similar results on your E.

$ 1300 Guzzler tax on the '07 & the identical car as on '08 carries no Guzzler Tax? Are you sure?
Anyway... for a car of this size and power including its amazing long distance driving comfort, I too get those MPG figures on a 60+ Miles or so trip. Quite an impressive engineering feat.
