211 wheels on a 210? Will they fit?

I just sold my 17" sport wheels off my 04 E320 to a guy with a 01 E320. He says the bolt pattern is the same but the lugs are different size ( His are Smaller). I gave him the orginal lugs the can with the stock wheels. 3 questions:
1.) Will the wheels fit his 210?
2.) Does he need different lugs?
3.) If yes where can I get the different Lugs?

Thanks for the help!

Wheels for W211 use 14mm diameter lug bolts.

Wheels for W210 use 12mm diameter lug bolts.

Mercedes does not offer "adapter" bolts.

Those with less engineering integrity do.

check with new forum sponser Rad Bolts, to fit a w211 to a w210 you need a bolt with 14mm ball, 12mm bolt, length depends on your specific wheel, i used 26mm length shank, call rad they are very helpful

ok, that is the bolt stuff, you also need to check the wheel offsets (simply explained as how far wheels stick in/out of wheel well), i don't know about the e320s and their offsets, a rule of thumb is that they should be +-5mm new wheel to previous wheel, offsets are stamped on wheels, search forums for specifics

Rad Usa

The guys at RAD makes the lug specifically for this exact application. I ordered and will have tomorrow (Only $56 w/ shipping) . He also confirmed the offset is fine.

Thanks for the Great Referral!

La Costa,

I have W211 wheels and the proper lug bolts that I used on my 1998 E320. They all fit perfectly. I got my bolts from RAD as well.

Since I no longer have the car the wheels and bolts are for sale.
