2006 Mercedes Benz E350
Don't know if this will work for you but...
I told my SA at my local dealership that I had lost my spare key to my car so he said that he could order me a new one. Went to pick it up today and it was one of the brand new ones as opposed to my older black plastic one. Best part about it was when I asked how much I had to pay for it my SA said $0.00, the dealership usually replaces any lost keys free for the first time.
