Mirror signal lamp cover broken...
My left mirror signal lamp cover is broke on my 2006 model year E350 (I think I may have hit at some point the garage door wooden frame when reversing out...not good!). Like to fix myself, so can somebody please help me with:
1. Instructions to remove and re-install? How to pull the cover off? What happens to the led lights? Can they be set over or do they need to be replaced as well?
2. Where to buy this part in the US for a reasonable price?
Appreciate all the input I can get.

Here are the instructions for the removal/installation, look at them carefully before doing any work, the parts easily break.
For the part, try http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=213951, less than $30 bucks plus shipping, not too bad.

Thanks a lot for the detailed instructions!
As you say, the part is not expensive but it is more involved (pretty much requires the whole mirror and housing to be dissambled) than I had hoped.
For the moment the damage is minor (some cracks for about an inch on the outside) and some transparent 3M tape is keeping it together (LED's still working as well), so I have to think about this some. Maybe call around for a quote from the MB dealers in Houston (Star, Greenway, North and Sugarland) before going the DIY route.
