Well guys, after reading all the great info on this board and after having my transmission blow out on the parkway monday night I figured it was as good a time as any to lease a new E-class. I talked to a sales guy on thursday who amazingly found a new E320 at the VPC with the exact specs that I wanted!!! That would be brilliant silver, charcoal leather, E2, E3, heated seats, and cd changer. The car was delivered to the dealership the same day on thursday, prepped on friday, and ready for delivery on saturday. As the sales guy (who was awesome by the way) was showing me some stuff about the car, the srs light came on. He couldn't clear it and told me that he felt uncomfortable having me drive it home. Therefore he was going to keep it until monday for someone to look at it. I was really disappointed, until he told me he would give me an E500 for the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow this car is hot. There is so much power that its scary. I'm actually glad that I got the E320 though because I would get so many tickets in this thing.

Some notes about the sales experience:

My sales guy was AWESOME.
I never met him until I took delivery.
EVERYTHING was done over the phone.
When I got there he had all the paperwork ready for me to sign.

For you lease people out there here's the deal:

$2500 down + inception fees
$674 a month
39 months

I haven't calculated it, but I guess it's MSRP.
Believe it or not though, I don't care. It doesn't get any better than having to wait 2 days!

wow, thats cool, very cool, i hope you have lots of fun, 2 days is nothing..youre lucky, we ordered back in feb but waiting for a w211 is worth it
