Folding Mirror
Hi, i got installed folding mirror couples months ago, it works find until yesterday my driver side won't fold, is there any fues to reset the folding mirror or is there a button to reset the mirror?

I don't fold my mirrors much anymore, maybe twice a month since I have to do manual fold. My cluster does not have auto fold - yes it's been checked with STAR, found out after mirrors were installed 1/03 build was supposed to have it and doesn't. When I do, they work intermittently...never did anything about it since I don't use the feature much.

what do you mean your cluster doesnt have autofold?

No. You will break them. European W211's have folding mirrors, I swapped out mirrors with Euro one's along with the mirror switch. Manual fold means I press a button and they fold in. Auto fold means they fold automatically when you park. The autofold feature is in the instrument cluster and accessible with STAR but you have to change the mirrors and switch. You were supposed to get auto fold availability in the instrument cluster with all 2003 and later build dates, mine is 1/03 and must have been right before the change.
