Don't have a photo........but Capri blue rocks, that color looks great on the Eclass.

If I were looking for a dark color, that would be it.

Go Capri blue/ash, great combo.

I would make sure you see a car in the capri blue before you ordered it. It is a really nice color, in fact i almost ordered my e500 in that color. My local dealer had one in capri blue/stone interior and it was sharp. The only thing I did not like was that at certian angles in the sun the car appeared to take on a purpleish color in my opinion. Good Luck it is a difficult decision.

Thanks, you guys rock! That color is wonderful. Hmm. They need color changing cars, so I can have a pewter/stone, plat blue/ash, and capri blue/ash car...

I have now seen in person the new E in almost all colors. I even like it in white, a color I do not always like. I have yet to see one that doesn't look great. The only caveat is that I think there are some interior color combinations that I would not care for for myself, although I respect them for others. MB has done a great job.

Androza, if you can develop an exterior finish system that can change colors-you will be set for life. Go for it.

All of the above
Go with the Capri

Capri blue w/ ash interior is one of my favorites.
A great color combo! It does look a little purple/"eggplant" in some lights. If you don't like the purple hue (especially in evening light) it is not you. I sold a CLK430 in Capri w/ ash interior and I loved it.

Hmm... currently I just need to go to the dealer, which is easier said then done since its about 20 minutes away and I am without a car. I could ask a friend, but I always feel weird doing that... oh well. They currently have 2 E500s and 3 E320s in stock...

The thing is though, they would be picking me up in front of my dorm, which I'm sure would seem a little dubious as to my ability to pay, and then theres also the fact that I have no credit history at all, not even a credit card. Not that it matters a lot, since I'll be paying cash up front, but I wonder what they're going to want me to do that I'll need to refuse...

03 E320, sport package, moon roof, sound upgrade, brilliant silver, charcoal leather, heated seats..
Suggestion to Mr. Money Bags: stuff a briefcase with $75,000 - $100,00 cash (maybe $20s since $50 are hard to cash), take a taxi to the dealership. First salesman you see hand him/her a $500 bill, and tell them which car you want, flash briefcase contents. After all, money talks. Jeez.....

Another suggestion, hire a personal shopper.

Hmmm... that would add quite a bit of panache to buying. And I didn't literally mean I would pay in cash, I meant I would pay for it up front. But that is a funny idea... mmm briefcase full of cash... heh.

About Colors

I agree that White looks surprisingly good and rich on the New E - I also saw a midnight blue (the only no charge color - since black and white arent officially colors) and wasnt impressed - it looked flat and dull - muddy would be a good way to describe it. That and Bordeux Red would be the dolors that don't appeal to me - Bordeux Red looks good on a smaller car like the C but looks overdone on the E. I also really like the stone interior - its much less yellow than the Java color from previous years - goes well with all color combo's (except silver).
