Service expense over first 4 years?

So how much are you folks paying for service in the first 4 years, 50,000 miles?

Thanks! This is a great site!

if you are not buying a used 2003 or 2004 car. with these cars u need one service a year. I would say an avg service appointment is about $300 to $500However if you need brakes add about 600 more per axle. they do have some good indy mb shop that you can save a lot of money. however the good part of going to the dealer during the warranty peiod, is that when they are doing their checks if they find something broke the they will fit it under warranty. also they will preform the recalls and service companions if needed.

so I would say an avg of $500 to 1000 a yr.

so about $500 to $1K is about what you are looking at. however I heard some dealer charges about 200 for service "A" which is a oil change. service "B" is a oil change with inspection and also they renew your brake fluid which cost more money.

BMW FTW
$268 every year for service which is oil filters ect.. Probably going to need new rotors and pads before 50k so another $1k or so for that.
