W211 / W219 Nav unit available

I have a spare nav unit for sale w/ antenna in working condition. Unit can be installed in a W211 E Class and W219 CLS Class. Navigation DVD does not come with unit. Asking $500 obo.

Can this work with a the OEM head unit that has the "NAV" button and screen? or do I need also to get a new head unit and the DVD Nav drive?

Assuming that its for your 04 E500 and its a US car, then yes, it should work. AFAIK, it will not work only with casette head units.
